Virginia’s artistic journey began in 2010 with works using the dripping technique, such as Harmonizing Chaos, Primaveras, Universe, and Infinity. These early pieces marked the beginning of a deep exploration that would shape her creative universe. Soon after, psychic automatism became a key form of expression, a passage through unknown inner territories, guiding her with precision toward realms where time and space dissolve. The result was a series that captured the experience of inhabiting the intangible.

She later developed a body of work with a strong surrealist influence, organic, vibrant, and deeply symbolic, where she gave form to abstract concepts like fertility, balance, joy, and discernment. Through color and shape, she gave face to complex emotions. In parallel, she returned to charcoal drawing on paper, using automatism to map out human and sensory journeys, internal and external, offering visual pathways through layers of consciousness.

Her compositions are organic, colorful, and voluptuous. She conceives art as an extension of the human body, and the biological contours in her work affirm this connection. Virginia sees life as a living interconnected system and her visual language reflects this vision.

Improvisation is essential to her practice. She approaches each piece without preconceived ideas, trusting the clarity with which creative impulses emerge. She flows without resistance, allowing the process to unfold. Her use of color is intuitive and free, making each work a perceptual experience—both for the artist and the viewer.

Digital art expanded her expressive tools without compromising her essence. For Virginia, the medium does not define the authenticity of creation. The digital realm offers agility and new visual languages, but never replaces her connection with traditional materials. She moves fluidly between screen and canvas, allowing her work to adapt to contemporary forms while remaining rooted in its core.

Her work invites the viewer not only to contemplate, but to recognize themselves, to feel and perceive, as she does, a universe that cannot be explained, only inhabited. Although her practice includes series, each piece is a new territory: an emotion embodied, a vision emerging from an untouched place. It is creative force drawing a shared language.
