Bio and artist statement

 Born in Mones Cazon, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, on April 4th of 1974. 

Virginia is a self-taught artist. She lived her teenage years in Santa Rosa, La Pampa, Argentina and since 2000 resides in Miami. Since young she felt a strong attraction to the lines, limits, colors, energy, silence, points and the 'invisible'.

Since small child, she claimed: 

“everything is connected, but some connections are not seen, they are perceived”.

“I am moved to paint by a force that is intense, inexplicable, and unique. I allow myself to be taken. By who? By art. I provide it the intangible space necessary to manifest itself. Facing a blank canvas, I flow. I do not oppose, I do not reject, I accept.

Through an abstract mind I am able to create a work of honesty. 

I fear not the outcome, I question not the inspiration. Instead, I unwaveringly respect both. 

My work forms itself with fullness, security, and unity. 

When it complete itself, we encounter each other for the first time”.
