 Biography

Virginia Casado was born on April 4, 1974, in Buenas Casas, Buenos Aires, Argentina. From an early age, she displayed a heightened sensitivity and a natural inclination toward poetry and drawing. Over time, she internalized colors as carriers of personal experiences and emotions: greens evoke the fields, chlorophyll, and the aroma of her birthplace; reds, pinks, and oranges reflect the intensity of the pampas, its fire, and sunsets; while blues, turquoises, and violets recall the atmosphere of Miami, the city where she currently resides.

Motherhood marked a decisive turning point in her creative journey. This experience completed and amalgamated her sensations, establishing artistic expression as a central axis of her life, far beyond a mere hobby. Self-taught and experimental, she does not confine herself to techniques or media but explores freely what inspiration reveals. Her work follows an intuitive and organic line, where color, emotion, and experience intertwine in gestures that keep the spirit of creation alive.

Virginia’s practice is distinguished by its ability to reveal what she perceives as emanating from the ethereal and subtle world, yet charged with an honest force that drives creativity. She understands that her work engages the viewer as fully as it engages her, inviting reflection and contemplation of ourselves as an extension of creation. Her artistic maturity combines the force that inspires her with the conceptual clarity through which she manifests it, and she feels her inspiration is inexhaustible and infinite, originating from a greater space that sustains her.
